Mountaincross is strictly a team event, requiring five (5) members per team only.
No track reading will be provided.
Participants will navigate the route using coordinates provided at each checkpoint.
Riders will have 3 days and 2 nights to complete the adventure.
The event commences at 7 AM on the 1st day and concludes at 12 Midnight on the 3rd day.
Riders will be assessed on their perseverance, problem-solving, navigational, and riding skills.
The route consists of 70% road and 30% off-road sections.
Riders must bring their own camping gear, food, water, first aid kit, and any necessary survival gear.
Participants of the FJ Moto Mountaincross Adventure with no prior off-road experience must provide a certification from any authorized off-road school nationwide.
The maximum speed limit when entering town centers and densely populated areas is 40 kph. "Specific towns" will be announced when coordinates are provided to each team. Teams that violate the speed limit will not receive the next set of coordinates. Additionally, any team involved in a vehicular accident with other motorists, regardless of its scale, will not be allowed to continue the adventure and will not be given the next coordinates.
The organizers do not endorse drinking alcohol during the Adventure.
The event is exclusively for Adventure and Offroad capable Big Bikes with displacements of 400cc and above.
Modified dirt bikes with an engine capacity of 400cc and above are not allowed.
Motorcycles must be equipped with off-road or Dual sport tires only.
Riders are required to bring their own bike tools and emergency kits.
Participants are responsible for repairing their own and their teammates' motorcycles in the event of any bike failure. Team mechanics who are not registered as participants of the challenge are not permitted.
Motorcycles will be inspected one (1) day before the event. Event officials will also check the rider's motorcycle upon arrival at the finish line.
Coordinates to the first checkpoint will be issued at the Starting Line, and subsequent coordinates will be provided at each checkpoint reached.
Several checkpoints must be passed before reaching the finish line.
Teams are required to send a group picture without helmets via our Team’s official Viber Groups
FJ Moto Enduro will furnish the coordinates to the next checkpoint to teams through the Team’s Official Viber Group after receiving the group picture.
FJ Moto Enduro will withhold the next coordinates from any team that fails to pass their last required checkpoint.
FJ Moto Enduro will withhold the next coordinates from any team that fails to send group photo from their last required checkpoint.
The next coordinates will not be supplied by FJ Moto Enduro to any team that does not submit the required group picture.
FJ Moto Enduro will withhold the next coordinates from any team that violates event rules and guidelines.
On the 1st day, travel is permitted only from 7 AM to 10 PM. For the 2nd day, the travel window is strictly from 5 AM to 8 PM and for the 3rd day, travel window shall be from 5AM to 12 Midnight with no consideration for special requests to extend the travel period.
Traveling beyond 8 PM is strictly prohibited, particularly in tribal areas, including inner roads and barangay roads.
Teams must successfully complete the challenge by 12 Midnight on the 3rd day, adhering strictly to the designated time frame. Requests for an extension of time will not be entertained.
All teams will be under surveillance through GPS devices supplied by WRU GPS Fleet Management.
The GPS tracker will monitor the riders' location and speed.
Two motorcycles within a team will be equipped with a WRU GPS Tracker, directly linked to their motorcycles' batteries.
The remaining team members must install the WRU GPS tracking application on their mobile phones.
Every rider is required to enable the WRU GPS Tracking on their mobile phones for the entire duration of the event.
Finisher riders or teams are prohibited from using the phrase "FIRST TO ARRIVE" or any statement suggesting that they were the first to reach the finish line in their social media posts after the event. Failure to adhere to this rule will lead to a ban from participating in any future FJ Moto Mountaincross Adventure events.
Any rider or team proclaiming themselves as the "winner or champion" of the challenge in their social media posts will be disqualified and barred from participating in any future FJ Moto Mountaincross events.
Teams found or reported to violate or disrespect any tribal community or towns within the route will be disqualified and banned from the event or any future FJ Moto Mountaincross Adventure events.
In the event that two (2) members experience a bike breakdown or are unable to continue for other reasons, the remaining three (3) members may be permitted to continue the challenge. If more than two (2) members suffer a bike breakdown or are unable to continue for other reasons, the team will not be allowed to continue the adventure.
Merging of teams will not be allowed.
If a team encounters an accident of any scale, they will not be allowed to continue the adventure. The accident must be reported to the organizer. Failure to report will result in a ban from future FJ Moto Mountaincross Adventure events.
Teams surpassing the specified travel cutoff period will be subject to disqualification. The designated travel periods are as follows:
1st day: 7 AM to 10 PM
2nd day: 5 AM to 8 PM
3rd day: 5 AM to 12 Midnight
Disqualification awaits riders who deactivate their mobile GPS tracking or remove their GPS tracker. FJ Moto Enduro will adhere to WRU Fleet management recommendations and disqualify any rider or teams found to have exceeded the permitted travel period.
Teams failing to complete the challenge by 12 Midnight on the last day will be disqualified. No special requests to extend the cutoff period will be entertained.
Changing motorcycles due to mechanical failure is prohibited. Violation of this rule will result in disqualification.
Changing riders during the event is not allowed.
Team mechanics, photographers, videographers, or any support personnel on motorcycles are prohibited.

We will strictly enforce the "No Support Vehicle" rule. Any participant whose friends or family in a support vehicle are found near any location, checkpoint, or campsite will be disqualified and not allowed to continue the challenge. Support vehicles are strictly for emergency use only and may approach participants only in case of an emergency.
Participants experiencing bike failure must promptly report their status to the organizer.
FJ Moto Enduro will not offer rescue or bike hauling services for stalled bikes.
Any motorcycle facing mechanical failure must be rescued or hauled by the participating team's Rescue Vehicle, either during or after the event.
An ambulance will be on standby in all the off-road sections of the route. Additionally, an ambulance will act as a sweeper at the back end of all the riders.

We will not entertain slot reservations.
Participants must present a valid driver's license.
Participants need to submit their motorcycle's Official Receipt and Certificate of Registration (OR/CR). The motorcycle must be registered in their name, or a notarized deed of sale must be provided.
Riders aged 60 and above must present a medical clearance from their doctors.
The event will offer a total of 400 slots: 300 for regular registration, 50 reserved for Demo Bike-sponsored riders, and 50 for foreign riders.
7. FJ Moto Enduro will only permit team names based on brands from official event sponsors.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Official Event sponsors may lend their demo bikes to participants. FJ Moto Enduro has allotted 50 slots for demo bike-sponsored riders, which will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. An official event sponsor can provide bike sponsorship to a maximum of Ten (10) participants.
